Troubleshooting Computer Network

Troubleshooting a computer network is a most important job of a network administrator and being network administrator if you are not ready for any kind of troubleshooting problems, then not only you but your organization can get serious problems such as employees’ work can be delayed if their problem is not solved urgently. You may need to troubleshoot wireless router, Pix Firewall, gateway router or software, server applications, network traffic, VOIP Router, IP addresses, DSL modem, Switch/Hub, Access points, PCMCIA cards, port monitoring, server monitoring, system monitoring, user monitoring, website monitoring, email monitoring, hardware monitoring and LAN/WAN connectivity problems.

It also depends on the nature of the problem but if you are equipped with the right tools, you can troubleshoot the problem within no time.

Today there are different kinds of software available for monitoring, managing and troubleshooting the computer network problems. The more big the network the more administrative efforts are required to manage and troubleshoot it. The main threats are viruses, hacking, spy ware, accidental data loss and unauthorized access. You have to be very up to date with the robust security, monitoring, data recovery and troubleshooting tools.
