Like other competitors, NETGEAR WNDR37AV Wireless Router is designed for high performance wireless network for Video and Gaming consoles, Blu-ray players, HDTVs, and TiVo®/DVRs.
NETGEAR WNDR37AV is also powered with the simultaneous dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless –n standards to provide you twice the bandwidth for better connection and less interference. For wired connection, you can connect up to four network devices with Gigabit speed for high performance high-intensive bandwidth applications such as transferring large HD Video files (featuring Video Quality of Service). WNDR37AV is embedded with 4-port Gigabit Switch and 1-port Gigabit WAN.
The router features a DLNA Media Server and with the included ReadySHARE™ USB port allows you stream video and music from a USB drive to media players, DLNA TVs, and any other DLNA compliant devices – no PC required. Network Connection Diagram
To share the broadband internet connection, you can connect the WAN / Internet port of the router to the Ethernet port of the Cable modem or ADSL modem as shown in the network diagram.
